A highly entertaining game show where five British comedians complete tasks ranging from simple (get a teabag into a mug) to ludicrous (paint a horse while riding a horse). The very tall and very funny Greg Davies is the titular taskmaster who assigns tasks and judges them. Currently, there are only a handful of episodes (such is the nature of British telly), making Taskmaster very easy to binge-watch.
As I prepare to teach Macbeth during the summer, I am re-reading and also re-remembering the timeless talent of the immortal Bard. The monologues! The gender politics! The supernatural madness! Also looking forward to re-watching the recent film adaptation starring Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard and perhaps seeing Throne of Blood, a highly acclaimed version of Macbeth set in the samurai era of Japan, for the first time.
Harry Potter is one of my all time favourite series to read and I sometimes indulge my nerdiness without actually re-reading all seven novels by listening to other people talk about the books, chapter by chapter. The Chapter Titles Were So Good is a three-person podcast where each episode is a humourous and insightful discussion about a chapter of the Harry Potter series. The podcast has concluded but can still be found and downloaded online.
